Engage PEO Names Andrew Reiben Chief Financial Officer
Fort Lauderdale, Fla., August 24, 2026 — Engage PEO, a leading professional employer organization providing HR outsourcing solutions to small and mid-sized businesses nationwide, today announced that Andrew C. Reiben, CPA, has joined the company as chief financial officer (CFO). Reiben succeeds Craig Hill, who announced his 2028 retirement after a decade with Engage.
Reiben will lead Engage’s financial strategy and oversee all financial functions, including accounting, financial reporting, financial planning and analysis, tax, treasury, and lender relations. He will also serve as a strategic partner to Engage’s CEO and leadership team on the financial aspects of growth. Hill will work closely with Reiben to support a smooth transition, and will then move into the new role of Executive Vice President of Strategic Initiatives, where he will focus on the financial aspects of Engage’s M&A activity until his retirement.
“Craig has been instrumental to Engage’s growth and success since joining the company in 2016,” said Jay Starkman, CEO of Engage PEO. “He built the financial foundation and operational discipline that allowed us to expand nationally, significantly increase the number of worksite employees we support, and complete a series of strategic acquisitions. He has been a true partner over the last decade in shaping the Company’s strategic direction and will be missed. His judgment, steady leadership and deep PEO expertise shaped the company throughout that growth. We are grateful for his many contributions and wish him the very best in retirement.”
Hill joined Engage as CFO in 2016 with more than 30 years of experience in PEO finance and operations. “It has been incredibly rewarding to help guide Engage through a decade of remarkable growth,” said Hill. “I am proud of what we have built together and especially grateful to the Accounting and Finance teams, whose talent, commitment, and hard work have supported the company at every stage. I have also valued the trust and partnership that I have shared with Jay and the leadership team throughout that journey. Engage has tremendous momentum, and I look forward to working with Andrew through the transition and continuing to support the company’s acquisition strategy and growth through my retirement in 2028.”
“Few companies within or outside the PEO industry have grown at the pace Engage has maintained year after year,” Starkman said. “Andrew brings financial and operational experience to help us manage that momentum and prepare for what comes next. He has guided high-growth businesses through complex acquisitions and financing transactions and built the systems and teams those organizations needed to scale. His experience working with investors, boards, and executive leadership teams will be especially valuable as Engage enters its next stage of growth.”
Reiben brings more than 20 years of experience as a CFO, along with extensive expertise in mergers and acquisitions, private equity and debt financing, strategic planning, financial controls, operational systems, and investor relations. Most recently, he served as CFO of UPSTACK, a fast-growing private equity-backed technology brokerage company, where he helped scale the business, complete numerous acquisitions, and build the finance and operational infrastructure.
Earlier in his career, Reiben served as CFO and COO of Dale Carnegie & Associates, a global training organization, and held CFO roles with Sterling Infosystems, Strategic Product and Services, and ATC Healthcare. His experience spans technology, business services, pre-employment screening, and healthcare staffing. Throughout his career, he has helped organizations navigate rapid expansion, improve profitability, integrate acquisitions, and implement financial and operational systems.
“I’ve spent two decades building financial infrastructure for companies scaling through acquisitions and rapid growth, and that experience is what drew me to this role. I’m joining a company with a track record of sustained growth, a respected leadership team, and a service model built to last. I’m looking forward to working alongside that team and putting my experience to work for Engage’s next chapter.”
Reiben holds a Master of Science in accounting and a Bachelor of Science in business administration, both from Long Island University.
