Engage PEO was founded with a vision to redefine the PEO experience—putting client service, compliance, and innovation at the center of everything. From day one, Engage set itself apart with a unique HR delivery model and a strong commitment to working alongside brokers and agents as true partners.

In just a few short years, Engage became one of the fastest-growing PEOs in the country, earning national recognition for its explosive growth and dedication to service excellence. Engage PEO is founded by CEO Jay Starkman.

2012

Becomes the first PEO accredited from inception by ESAC.

Certifications

Engage is a Certified Professional Employer Organization (CPEO) (first effective date of January 1, 2017). This designation is part of the federal regulatory environment for PEOs created by the Small Business Efficiency Act (SBEA) in 2014. To become and remain certified under the voluntary IRS program, CPEOs must meet tax compliance, background, experience, business location, financial reporting, bonding, and other requirements.  Engage is one of an elite group of PEOs to earn this certification and among the first group of PEOs certified by the IRS.

Engage is ESAC accredited and has maintained continuous accreditation since 2012.

Engage PEO has successfully completed its SOC 1 Type II and SOC 2 Type II examinations, conducted by an independent third-party auditing firm.
