Engage PEO Continues Southeast Sales Team Growth

Fort Lauderdale, Fla., July 16, 2026 — Engage PEO, a leading professional employer organization providing HR outsourcing solutions to small and mid-sized businesses nationwide, today announced that Sean Hunter has joined the company as vice president of sales in Georgia. In this role, he will focus on expanding Engage’s presence across the state, developing relationships with insurance brokers and other referral partners, and introducing employers to Engage’s comprehensive HR solutions, while contributing to the company’s continued growth across the Southeast.

Hunter brings more than 10 years of PEO sales experience helping employers address complex HR, payroll, benefits, compliance and workforce challenges. His background includes new business development, client expansion and referral-channel sales with both national and regional PEO providers.

“Businesses across Georgia and the South are looking for more experienced support as they navigate workforce growth, compliance demands and rising HR complexity,” said Jay Starkman, CEO of Engage. “We continue to expand in this market to meet that demand and give more businesses access to the practical HR expertise and responsive service model that set Engage apart.”

Sean brings the kind of disciplined, relationship-driven sales background that fits the way we work at Engage,” said John Cataldo, group vice president of sales, Southern Division. “He has built his career by staying close to employers, referral partners and the internal teams responsible for delivering the solution. That perspective will be valuable as we continue building our presence in Georgia and beyond.”

Before joining Engage, Hunter spent much of his career with one of the nation’s largest PEOs and later worked with a regional provider. He led the full sales cycle, developed business through broker and referral relationships, and helped employers move from standalone payroll and benefits services to broader PEO support. His experience also includes building sales strategies around renewal periods and coordinating with HR, benefits, underwriting and payroll teams throughout the evaluation process. A consistent President’s Club performer, Hunter has served as a trusted adviser to business owners and executives, helping them make informed decisions that support long-term growth.

“Engage stands out for the depth of its HR consulting and its practical, compliance-focused approach,” Hunter said. “I’m excited to work with employers and referral partners across Georgia and help them see how the right HR partner can simplify operations, reduce complexity and create a stronger foundation for growth.”
