Engage PEO Continues Midwest Growth

Fort Lauderdale, Fla. – July 13, 2026 – Engage PEO, a leading professional employer organization providing HR outsourcing solutions to small and mid-sized businesses nationwide, today announced that Paul Talbot has joined the company as vice president of sales, Michigan. In this role, Talbot will work with employers, referral partners and business advisors across Michigan and nationwide to introduce Engage’s PEO services to organizations seeking stronger HR support and a more strategic approach to workforce management.

“Paul brings a valuable combination of PEO experience, workforce strategy and operational leadership,” said Jay Starkman, CEO of Engage PEO. “As we continue growing across the Midwest, we are adding sales professionals who know their markets and can help employers connect stronger HR support to broader business goals. Paul’s experience in Michigan makes him a strong addition to our national sales team.”

“Our continued growth depends on having a sales organization that can represent the full value of Engage consistently across every market,” said Patrice Alvino, group vice president of sales, Northern Divisions. “Paul’s understanding of workforce operations and organizational performance strengthens that capability. His perspective will help us continue building a national team equipped to support both employers and the referral partners who bring Engage into important client conversations.”

Talbot has more than 20 years of experience across PEO services, workforce consulting, HR operations, talent strategy, financial services, healthcare and technology. Most recently, he held sales and market leadership roles with a large national PEO, where he expanded business development efforts throughout Michigan, developed broker and referral relationships and worked with growth-stage and middle-market organizations on workforce strategy and organizational performance. Earlier in his career, he founded a workforce advisory firm serving venture-backed startups and growing organizations as a fractional head of people and held senior talent acquisition and HR leadership positions in healthcare and financial services. Across these roles, he built HR and recruiting operations, introduced workforce analytics and led organizational and technology initiatives designed to improve hiring, retention and performance.

“I’ve worked with companies from several different vantage points: as an operator, an HR leader and a business advisor,” said Talbot. “That experience has shown me how closely workforce decisions are tied to the overall performance of a business. Engage gives employers access to practical HR support, including HR Consultants who are licensed employment attorneys, while protecting the relationships of the referral partners who introduce us. I’m looking forward to bringing that model to more organizations across Michigan and beyond.”
