Employee Portal Muti-Factor Authentication

Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) is a security system that requires more than one method of authentication from independent categories or credentials to verify the user’s identity for a login.

MFA is an effective way to provide enhanced security.  Traditional usernames and passwords can be stolen, and they’ve become increasingly more vulnerable to brute force attacks.

Once you’ve authenticated your device you will not need to go through the MFA process for that device again for 14 days.

Users will receive an authentication email to the primary email on file.  If a user’s mobile phone number is on file the user will have the ability to select to receive an authentication code via an SMS message.  When using email, check your "JUNK" or "SPAM" folders if you do not find the email in your inbox.

Once you’ve accessed the Employee Portal navigate to the Personal menu and choose Contact Info.  Within this menu you can review and update the email address on file along with adding or modifying the cell phone number on file.
