Human Resources Administrator

Engage is an innovative and fast growing Professional Employer Organization (PEO) seeking a Human Resources Administrator to join our dynamic team in our St. Petersburg, Florida office.       

Responsibilities Include:

  • Perform Client Service functions by assisting worksite employees and Engage clients with human resources questions and requests

  • Administer FMLA requests for Engage clients

  • Administer client EEO-1 Reporting

  • Participate in various human resources reporting and auditing

  • Assist HR Director and HR Managers with various research projects, special projects and other administrative tasks, including:

    • Creating Excel spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations

    • Researching various human resources concepts

  • Occasional Travel

  • Assistance with other human resources administrative tasks

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • One to two years of Human Resources administrative experience preferred

  • Strong computer skills, including significant experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office products

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment while working on multiple tasks

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and individually

  • Strong interpersonal skills necessary to handle confidential and sensitive information

  • Familiarity and experience with various employment laws (such as the Family and Medical Leave Act [FMLA]) preferred

  • Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred

EDUCATION:

Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience, preferably in Human Resources
