Front End Web Developer
Recognized on the Inc. 500 list as one of the fastest growing businesses in the United States, Engage PEO (www.engagepeo.com) is an innovative Professional Employer Organization (PEO) seeking a Front End Web Developer to join our dynamic team. The position is primarily responsible for the development efforts to improve Engage’s client facing web applications utilized in the delivery of Payroll, Benefits and HR services. The ideal candidate will combine full-stack development experience in a transactional/data driven environment, with specific expertise in UX improvement.
Responsibilities Include:
- Lead internal development and customization for customer-facing web applications and related products
- Integrate javascript based charting for dashboard widgets into the existing framework
- Update HTML, CSS, and Javascript page components to achieve improved UX
- Establish code management and continuous integration policies and practices for ongoing feature enhancements
- Manage the development lifecycle using Agile methods
- Work closely with Engage's product owners to establish stories, create release plans, and manage the development backlog
- Work closely with Back End Developer/Manager to identify and use appropriate existing interfaces and to define new API requirements
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Expert: html, css, javascript, jquery
- Experienced: continuous integration practices, API, Java, JSP, Servlet
- Experienced working in a transactional, data-driven environment
- Experienced working with legacy back-end applications, middleware, and role based security
