New feature to address mandatory Payroll Based Journal (PBJ) reporting
Fort Lauderdale, Fla. – June 16, 2016 – Engage PEO, a leading professional employer organization providing HR outsourcing solutions to small and mid-sized businesses across the U.S., today announced a new tool that will help its long term care facility clients be compliant with the new Payroll Based Journal (PBJ) reporting that goes into effect July 1, 2016 as required by the Affordable Care Act.
Per the new regulation, long term care facilities must electronically submit staffing information based on payroll and other data. These figures, when combined with census information, are used to report on the level of staff in each nursing home, employee turnover and tenure, which can impact the quality of care delivered and the facility’s quality rating. Engage, with its premier time and attendance technology partner, ITCS-WebClock™, is offering an integrated PBJ reporting solution that will help automate and greatly reduce the burden on long term care facilities to comply with this requirement and allow them to meet the July 1 deadline.
“The burdens facing employers today have never been more challenging. Just keeping up with constantly changing regulations is nearly impossible for any company to do alone,” said Ralph Labarta, Engage PEO’s chief technology officer. “Engage’s number one priority is to ease the burdens that our clients face and provide them with the HR and technology solutions they need. We’re doing just that for our many long term care clients through our partnership with WebClock for PBJ reporting.”
