Fort Lauderdale, Fla. – June 19, 2019 – Engage PEO, a leading professional employer organization providing HR outsourcing solutions to small and mid-sized businesses across the U.S., today announced the addition of Blanca Abbud as vice president of sales for Texas. In her role, Abbud will enhance Engage’s already significant presence in the state and nationally, working closely with insurance brokers to offer Engage’s suite of human resources solutions to business clients.
“Engage’s strong relationships with brokers and a diverse group of businesses in Texas has driven substantial growth for the company from the very start,” said Jay Starkman, chief executive officer of Engage. “Blanca’s experience in PEO, her knowledge of healthcare strategies, her strong roots in Texas and impressive track record as a top producer is a winning combination for Engage. We’re excited to welcome her aboard.”
With more than 20 years of business development expertise, Abbud built a successful career in the banking industry before entering the PEO space in 2012. Prior to joining Engage, Abbud served in senior sales executive roles for several national professional employer organizations, with a focus on helping clients develop comprehensive employee benefits strategies.
