As Chief Financial Officer of Engage, Craig is responsible for all financial aspects of the company, including finance and strategy, tax, treasury, reporting and financial planning.
Craig has over 30 years of leadership experience in finance and operations, including more than 20 years in the PEO industry. Prior to joining Engage, Craig served as a senior executive at Paychex Business Solutions (“PBS”), the PEO subsidiary of Paychex, Inc., where he was CFO and President from 1995 to 2012. During his time at PBS, he developed strategies that helped transform the company from a regional (Florida-only) PEO to one of the largest national PEOs in the country. During his PEO career, Craig has also developed enterprise-wide health care reform strategies, expanding benefits product offerings and enhancing the delivery of new and alternative insurance solutions through partnerships with leading agents and carriers.
In addition to his leadership roles in PEOs, Craig served as President, CEO and CFO of a privately held international manufacturing company with more than 600 employees in the U.S. and around the world.
Craig earned a Bachelor of Science in accounting from the University of Florida and is a Certified Public Accountant. He is a member of the AICPA, FICPA and the Tampa Bay CEO Council. Craig is a past member of the Board of Directors of the National Association of Professional Employer Organizations (NAPEO), past Chair of the NAPEO Health Care Task Force and past member of the Board of Directors of the Florida Association of Professional Employer Organizations (FAPEO).
