Carlos is an assistant general counsel and senior human resources consultant for Engage. He works with Engage clients in Florida and across the country, providing guidance on a wide range of labor and employment issues.
A licensed attorney, Carlos has experience advising clients on complex issues ranging from immigration law and taxation, to human resource policies and practices. Additionally, while at Engage, Carlos has garnered a wealth of experience in the hospitality industry, serving a diverse portfolio of clients in that sector. Prior to joining Engage, Carlos was the managing partner of a law firm he founded in Miami, Florida, serving corporate clients. Carlos also has a background in talent management and recruiting strategy and worked as a Human Resources manager.
Carlos received a bachelor’s degree from St. Thomas University, a Juris Doctor from St. Thomas University School of Law, and an MBA from Florida International University. He also is currently a candidate for a Master of Laws in Taxation from the Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law.
