Addition further enhances executive team for nation’s fastest growing PEO
Fort Lauderdale, Fla. – Jan. 12, 2015 – Engage PEO, a leading professional employer organization providing HR outsourcing solutions to small and mid-sized businesses, today announced the addition of PEO-industry veteran Alex Pisani as general counsel and vice president of strategic development. Pisani is based out of Engage’s Dallas, Texas office.
As corporate general counsel, Pisani will be responsible for all legal areas of the company, including certifications, governance, licensing, compliance, contracts, acquisitions and unemployment claims. He also will play a key role in managing strategic relationships and developing new partnerships.

Pisani previously served as general counsel for two PEOs, managing all legal aspects for the companies, providing business support for acquisitions, and handling corporate and regulatory compliance and contract negotiations. He was also instrumental in developing the online tool for Alliance for PEO Electronic Compliance (APEC), an independent, nonprofit organization that helps PEOs and government agencies increase efficiencies and establish web-based standardization of regulations.

Pisani received a bachelor’s degree from Wesleyan University in Middletown, CT and his Juris Doctor from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in New York City, NY. He is a member of the Florida Bar and holds a Six Sigma certification. He has contributed to professional publications on a variety of topics including unemployment and compliance.
